HomeChoice Home Care Participates in Golf Tournament

HomeChoice Home Care Solutions owners Brian Perruccio and Tony Rogers will play in the 27th annual Stand by Me golf tournament benefiting Alzheimer’s North Carolina.

The tournament will be held at The Club at 12 Oaks in Holly Springs, NC on Monday, June 1, 2015, the Nicklaus designed golf course has been named one of Golf Digest’s Top 10 Best New Private Courses in 2009.

Funds from the tournament will benefit Alzheimers North Carolina (www.alznc.org) in meeting its mission of education, family services, advocacy and research.  In 2013-2014, more than 175 educational programs were provided, reaching more than 6,000 people—and thousands more at health fairs and community presentations; thousands more were assisted through counseling and support groups; and Alzheimer’s research initiatives at North Carolina universities (Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC-Wilmington and East Carolina) received $322,000 in grants from Alzheimers North Carolina.  All proceeds from the tournament remain in North Carolina to assist families dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

This year Brian and Tony will field a foursome that will include Steve Apple from Bankers Life and Dave Roberts, a retired local business associate of HomeChoice.  The foursome will also be joined by another foursome of family and friends to show their support of Alzheimers North Carolina.
