With approximately five years of caregiving experience, Miyah brings both experience and a genuine heart for helping others to the clients she serves. A Heart for Helping Others
For Miyah, caregiving is about much more than completing a list of tasks. It’s about being someone a client can depend on.
“I’ve always had a soft spot for helping people and becoming a rock for people in need. It honestly makes my heart smile when I can support people in a way they need.”

Taking a Trip Down Memory Lane
Ask Miyah about her favorite thing to do with a client, and her answer says a lot about the type of caregiver she is.
She loves taking a “trip down memory lane,” listening as clients share stories about their lives and accomplishments. These conversations give Miyah an opportunity to learn about the person behind the care plan and create a deeper connection with them.
She also enjoys doing arts and crafts with her clients, providing opportunities for creativity, conversation, and fun.
These meaningful interactions are an important part of companion care. While assistance with everyday needs is essential, companionship can be equally valuable. Taking the time to listen to someone’s memories, learn about their accomplishments, share a laugh, or work on a project together can bring purpose and connection to a client’s day.
It’s this personal approach that helps turn in-home care for seniors into a relationship built on trust.

Big Goals for the Future
Miyah’s passion for helping others doesn’t stop with her current caregiving role. She has exciting plans for her future and hopes to continue advancing her education and career in healthcare.
Her goal is to earn her Registered Nursing degree and, one day, open a six-bed personal care home of her own.
Those goals reflect the same qualities we see in Miyah today: ambition, compassion, and a desire to create a place where people can receive excellent care and feel genuinely supported.
The experience she is gaining through providing personalized home care assistance is helping her continue to develop the skills, relationships, and understanding that will serve her throughout her healthcare career.
The Role She Values Most
As important as caregiving is to Miyah, her favorite role outside of work is being a mother.
When asked about her hobbies, her answer was simple: she loves being a mother to her beautiful daughters and making memories with them.
That emphasis on connection and creating meaningful moments carries over beautifully into Miyah’s work with her clients. Whether she’s making memories with her daughters or listening to a client reminisce about a lifetime of memories of their own, relationships clearly matter to Miyah.
