Brian Perruccio, Owner & General Manager

A native of Portland, CT, Brian has lived in the Triangle since 1995. Brian received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in 1992 and then received his Masters of Sports Administration from St. Thomas University (Miami, FL) in 1994. He began his professional career at the University of North Carolina where he worked in the Athletic Department. His experiences in marketing, sales, customer service and brand management led him to home care business ownership in 2010. Brian is compassionate about providing the best care possible to his clients while also providing their family members the reassurance that their loved ones are in great hands.

He is an avid mountain biker, golfer and a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the University of Connecticut Huskies. Brian resides in Apex, NC with his wife, Jennifer and their two children.

Jennifer Perruccio, Owner & Community Relations Director

Jennifer, Community Relations Director, has been an integral part of serving HomeChoice Home Care Solutions’ clients. She grew up in Cary and graduated from NC State with an undergraduate and Master’s degree. Helping others and owning a business are two dreams come true through HomeChoice Home Care Solutions. Jennifer enjoys making personal connections with our clients, their families and our employees.

Brian and Jennifer have been married for almost 20 years. They live in Apex and have two children. They are active in their church, St. Mary Magdalene, in Apex. They are Red Sox fans, enjoy taking road trips to National Parks, being outside and spending time with their children.

Brian and Jennifer have been known to help pack clients’ cars for beach trips, give caregivers rides during snowy weather and to drop off a home cooked meal at a client’s home. HomeChoice Home Care Solutions is not a “job” or a part-time venture; caring for people and helping them stay in their homes is a passion that Brian and Jennifer live every day.

Kim Oates RN Supervisor

Kim Oates, RN Supervisor

As RN supervisor, Kim trains and gives guidance to HomeChoice Home Care’s Certified Nursing Assistants. Kim assists them with concerns or questions they may have about our clients.  She also serves as a liaison between the clients and their medical team such as doctors, therapists and home health nurses.

A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia ,Canada, Kim graduated from Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing in 1994. After working on an oncology unit at home in Halifax, Kim’s career path brought her to Durham, North Carolina where she worked as a travel nurse in a variety of areas, ultimately becoming a nurse with the Adult Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Program at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

Working in Home Care has always been something that Kim has had interest in and she looks forward to building the long-term relationships that come from working with clients in their homes.

Kim is proud to say she became an American citizen in October of 2018 and is currently in school working toward earning her Masters Degree in Nursing.

Kim lives in Rolesville with her husband, David, and their four children. In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her family, and working out at the gym.

Vivecca Mcvie Care Manager

Vivecca Mcvie, Care Manager

As Care Manager, Vivecca is the caregiver supervisor with a focus on client care and caregiver support.  Vivecca has been with HomeChoice Home Care as a CNA for the past two years and has been an invaluable caregiver to many clients.
 
She was born and raised in North Carolina and has worked with individuals with special needs for years before she began working in home care after receiving her CNA certification in 2010. She worked in a memory care unit as the Special Care Coordinator, but returned to home care because she missed the one on one relationships.  Vivecca lives in Garner with her husband, Marty.  They enjoy traveling, cooking and working on creative projects together.
Maggie Smith Scheduler

Maggie Smith, Scheduling Coordinator

As Scheduling Coordinator, Maggie is responsible for making sure our clients are properly staffed with the right caregiver and that both our clients and caregivers are happy with one another.

Maggie was born abroad in Wiesbaden Germany to a military family and relocated to North Carolina at age 4. She has worked in customer-service related industries for numerous years and enjoys truly connecting and communicating with clients. Previously she spent 5 years with a company and due to her communication, leadership, critical thinking skills, and problem solving she was granted a role as a Dual Store Manager and received Store of the Month out of 93 US stores.

She currently lives in Clayton, NC – happily married with two fur children named Scout and Kenna. She can often be found exploring hiking trails, spending time with family, or trying her hand at Pinterest DIY projects.

Tony and Susan Rogers, Owners and Managing Directors

Tony and Susan recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. They have two daughters and two grandchildren. They have lived in Cary for over 40 years-which almost makes them natives! They both enjoy playing golf, traveling and spending time with their family. Tony loves to fish, to cheer on the Red Sox and to eat NC BBQ. Susan has been a member of her book club for over 30 years. She enjoys playing mahjong and taking long walks. They are active in their church, St. Mary Magdalene in Apex, NC. Tony and Susan are an integral part of the services HomeChoice Home Care provides because their dedication and commitment to care comes from the heart.
