Brian Perruccio, Owner & General Manager

A native of Portland, CT, Brian has lived in the Triangle since 1995. Brian received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in 1992 and then received his Masters of Sports Administration from St. Thomas University (Miami, FL) in 1994. He began his professional career at the University of North Carolina where he worked in the Athletic Department. His experiences in marketing, sales, customer service and brand management led him to home care business ownership in 2010. Brian is compassionate about providing the best care possible to his clients while also providing their family members the reassurance that their loved ones are in great hands.

He is an avid mountain biker, golfer and a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the University of Connecticut Huskies. Brian resides in Apex, NC with his wife, Jennifer and their two children.

Jennifer Perruccio, Owner & Community Relations Director

Jennifer, Community Relations Director, has been an integral part of serving HomeChoice Home Care Solutions’ clients. She grew up in Cary and graduated from NC State with an undergraduate and Master’s degree. Helping others and owning a business are two dreams come true through HomeChoice Home Care Solutions. Jennifer enjoys making personal connections with our clients, their families and our employees.

Brian and Jennifer have been married for over 20 years. They live in Apex and have two children. They are active in their church, St. Mary Magdalene, in Apex. They are Red Sox fans, enjoy taking road trips to National Parks, being outside and spending time with their children.

Brian and Jennifer have been known to help pack clients’ cars for beach trips, give caregivers rides during snowy weather and to drop off a home cooked meal at a client’s home. HomeChoice Home Care Solutions is not a “job” or a part-time venture; caring for people and helping them stay in their homes is a passion that Brian and Jennifer live every day.

HomeChoice Home Care RN Supervisor, Sharon Roberts

Sharon Roberts, RN Supervisor

As RN Supervisor, Sharon is responsible for the supervision and medical training of our caregiver staff. She is also charged with overseeing the medical aspect of our clients’ care.

Sharon dreamed of being a nurse from the time she was a little girl as she worked alongside her father who was a missionary doctor.  She graduated from UNC-Greensboro in 1985 and has never had a job she didn’t enjoy as her passion is caring for others and nursing has been a perfect fit for her.  When she started caring for seniors  in their homes in 2004, she had found her niche.

While she loves being a nurse, faith and family are her bedrocks. When she isn’t working, she enjoys being with family and friends, especially outdoors.  Sharon lives with her husband, Matt, whom she loves and has been married to for more than 30 years.  They have 3 young adult children.  Sharon and Matt attend Redeemer Anglican Church in Raleigh.

Maggie Smith Scheduler

Maggie Smith, HR Recruiter

As HR Recruiter, Maggie is responsible for the recruiting and hiring of our caregiver team. Maggie’s extensive experience as our Scheduling Coordinator gives her unique insight into building a great caregiving team.

Maggie was born abroad in Wiesbaden Germany to a military family and relocated to North Carolina at age 4. She has worked in customer-service-related industries for numerous years and enjoys truly connecting and communicating with clients. Previously she spent 5 years with a company and due to her communication, leadership, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving she was granted a role as a Dual Store Manager and received Store of the Month out of 93 US stores.

She currently lives in Clayton, NC – happily married with two fur children named Scout and Kenna. She can often be found exploring hiking trails, spending time with family, or trying her hand at Pinterest DIY projects.

Jessica Faith, Scheduling Coordinator

Jessica comes from a family of medical professionals. As a Scheduling Coordinator, she believes that open and respectful communication is the key to making sure our clients and caregivers are happy with each other.

As a North Carolina native, Jessica has lived all over North Carolina, but has been settled into the Triangle area for three years. She is a UNC alum and has worked in customer service for over nine years. Jessica enjoys serving and giving back to the community.

Jessica currently lives in Raleigh where she loves binge-watching television and movies, playing board games, and traveling to warm islands with friends and family.

Mitch DeBardelaben, Scheduling Coordinator

Mitch comes to HomeChoice with a background in medical office management.  Mitch grew up being exposed to the medical field because his mother is an RN. As Scheduling Coordinator, he approaches each interaction with the goal to leave the other person smiling, whether it’s from laughter, being someone to talk to or solving a problem.

Mitch is a North Carolinian, born and bred. He has lived in Raleigh and Holly Springs (back BEFORE it had a Wal-mart). He is an NC State fan, but his true sports allegiance lies across the pond with the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club aka soccer.  He enjoys video games new and old, baseball games with friends and family, and collects crazy socks.  A fun fact for locals, Mitch’s grandfather, Bob, was “the biggest name in weather” at WRAL from 1976-1989.

Danyae Bellamy, Weekend On-Call Scheduler

Danyae comes from a background as a CNA working in various healthcare settings.  As a Scheduling Coordinator, she enjoys building rapport with clients and their families.

Danyae was born in Greensboro, NC raised in Raleigh, NC. She is an East Carolina University alum and currently studying at Florida A&M University to receive a Master’s in Public Health. She has worked in various healthcare settings as a Public Health Professional as well as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Danyae plans to continue working for the State of North Carolina as a Public Health Professional as well as working with us during the weekends as the weekend on-call scheduler.

Danyae currently lives in Raleigh where she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Tony and Susan Rogers, Owners and Managing Directors

Tony and Susan recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. They have two daughters and two grandchildren. They have lived in Cary for over 40 years-which almost makes them natives! They both enjoy playing golf, traveling and spending time with their family. Tony loves to fish, to cheer on the Red Sox and to eat NC BBQ. Susan has been a member of her book club for over 30 years. She enjoys playing mahjong and taking long walks. They are active in their church, St. Mary Magdalene in Apex, NC. Tony and Susan are an integral part of the services HomeChoice Home Care provides because their dedication and commitment to care comes from the heart.
