Caregiver of the Month – July 2026: Claire M.

Although Claire is early in her caregiving journey, she has already made a lasting impression on both her clients and our team. Since becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in June 2025, she has embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and provide exceptional senior care with kindness and professionalism.
A Passion for Nursing
Claire always believed she was meant to become a nurse. Becoming a CNA was her first step toward that dream, allowing her to gain hands-on experience while confirming her passion for caring for others.
“I’ve always had a feeling that I was meant to be a nurse, and so becoming a CNA was an easy choice for me. It allowed me to step into the caregiving field to see if it was something I truly wanted to do.”
It didn’t take long for Claire to discover that caregiving was exactly where she belonged.
Building Meaningful Relationships
One of Claire’s favorite aspects of working at HomeChoice is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her clients. Because she often cares for the same individuals, she has the chance to truly get to know them and develop meaningful connections.
She especially enjoys listening to their stories, learning about their lives, and spending quality time together. These conversations remind us that exceptional companion care is about more than assisting with daily tasks; it’s about honoring each person’s unique experiences and making them feel heard, valued, and respected.
Growing Every Day
Claire appreciates the flexibility HomeChoice provides, allowing her to continue pursuing her education while working during breaks from school. She values the support she receives from the HomeChoice team and enjoys the variety of experiences that come with caring for different clients.
Her long-term goal is to become an oncology pediatric nurse, combining her love for caregiving with a desire to support children and their families through some of life’s most difficult moments. Her ambition, compassion, and commitment to learning are qualities that will serve her well throughout her healthcare career.
Life Outside of Caregiving
When she’s not working or studying, Claire enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, and taking Pilates classes. She also hopes to one day build a family of her own while continuing to grow in her nursing career.
Though she is just beginning her journey, Claire already understands what truly matters in caregiving; building trust, showing compassion, and treating every client with dignity. Her positive attitude and eagerness to learn make her a wonderful example of the compassionate in-home care for seniors that HomeChoice Home Care Solutions is proud to provide.
