Celebrating Social Workers at the 2026 Social Worker Appreciation Luncheon

At HomeChoice Home Care, we believe in recognizing the incredible professionals who make a difference in the lives of seniors and families every day. That’s why we were honored to participate in the Social Worker Appreciation Luncheon for the eighth consecutive year.

This year was especially exciting as HomeChoice Home Care proudly served as a Platinum Sponsor for the event, which was held at the Raleigh Convention Center. The luncheon brought together social workers, healthcare professionals, and community partners from across the region for an afternoon of appreciation, networking, and celebration.

Our team embraced this year’s “Garden Party” theme by decorating and sponsoring a themed table designed to create a welcoming and festive atmosphere. As a small token of our gratitude, every guest seated at our table received an appreciation gift bag to thank them for the compassion, dedication, and support they provide to seniors and families throughout our communities.

One of the highlights of the event was our centerpiece prize giveaway. The lucky winner took home a gift bag filled with snacks, a bottle of Rosé, insulated wine tumblers, a picnic blanket, and a $100 Visa gift card. In addition, HomeChoice donated several door prizes, including $25 gift cards to Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Ulta, and Target.

The luncheon was a tremendous success from start to finish. We enjoyed a delicious meal, meaningful conversations, and the opportunity to reconnect with longtime friends while also building new relationships. Events like this remind us how important teamwork and collaboration are when serving seniors and their families.

Social workers play a vital role in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, connect with resources, and maintain their independence.
