Showing Up for Our Community: Supporting the Glenaire 5K
There’s something special about being out in the community early on a Saturday morning, especially when it’s for a cause that truly makes a difference.
This past weekend, our team at HomeChoice Home Care Solutions had the privilege of participating in the 10th Annual Glenaire 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run in Cary. As a proud sponsor, we didn’t just show up, we showed up together.
A Morning Full of Energy and Connection
From the moment the sun came up, the energy was contagious. Runners, families, and supporters gathered to cheer each other on, and we loved being right in the middle of it all.
We had a great crew representing HomeChoice, including Sarah, Chelsea, Ryan (and his daughter!), Brian, and Jenn. Huge shoutout to everyone who got up early to support the Glenaire community, you made it a fun and memorable morning.

Our booth gave us the chance to meet so many wonderful people: from residents of Glenaire to young runners and local running clubs. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
More Than Just a Race
What makes the Glenaire 5K so meaningful is the mission behind it. As a nonprofit, Glenaire has spent over 30 years ensuring that residents can continue to call their community home, even if they outlive their financial resources. In fact, the organization has provided millions in financial assistance over the years, with 100% of race proceeds going directly toward supporting residents in need.
It’s inspiring to be part of something that truly reflects compassion, dignity, and doing the right thing, values we live by every day in our own work.
