Audrey has been part of the HomeChoice family since 2025, and from the very beginning, she has exemplified what it means to provide compassionate, dependable senior care services.
A Lifetime of Caring
Audrey’s journey in caregiving began in 1983, when she earned her CNA certification and began working in nursing homes, veterans homes, and group homes serving clients with both physical and mental disabilities. Her dedication to healthcare continued as she worked at University Hospital and pursued higher education while raising four children. In 2001, she earned her Associate of Science degree, further deepening her knowledge and commitment to care.
Audrey entered the healthcare field with one clear purpose:
“I wanted to become a Nurse. I have a heart for caring for the sick and disabled.”
That heart for service continues to guide her every day as she provides exceptional In-Home Care for Seniors.
Caring & Compassionate in Action
Audrey was selected as Caregiver of the Month because she beautifully embodies our value of caring & compassionate care. She pours her heart into every shift with her client. She is incredibly consistent and has not missed a single day of work with her client. Her reliability gives peace of mind to families and strengthens the trust that is so essential in personalized home care assistance.
One of the special routines Audrey and her client share is starting the day together by picking out clothes and preparing meals. What may seem like a simple task becomes a meaningful, joyful moment of companion care a time to connect, laugh, and build confidence for the day ahead.
Audrey truly wants what is best for her client and shows up each day ready to help with whatever is needed, always keeping dignity, comfort, and well-being at the forefront.
A Passion for Growth
Audrey’s future goals reflect her continued desire to serve others. She plans to complete her Social Work studies and earn her Master’s degree so she can support individuals “on the other side of the spectrum,” expanding her ability to help those in need beyond direct care.
Life Outside of Caregiving
Outside of work, Audrey enjoys staying active with exercise, walking, and free weights. She loves reading fiction and nonfiction, especially history, and enjoys bowling, visiting Paint with a Twist art studio, and relaxing at the beach. She is a proud mother of four grown children and grandmother to seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
