Letha brings an incredible 41 years of caregiving experience to her role, an achievement that speaks volumes about her commitment, compassion, and love for the elderly. Her journey into caregiving began naturally, driven by a genuine enjoyment of working with seniors and helping them maintain independence and dignity.

She was inspired to become a Personal Care Aide after helping her neighbors years ago, assisting with errands, picking up medications, and lending a hand wherever needed. Those early acts of kindness planted the seed for what would become a lifelong calling. Eventually, that path led her to HomeChoice Home Care Solutions, where she continues to make a meaningful difference every day.

In addition to being named Caregiver of the Month, we are proud to celebrate Letha’s incredible 15 years with HomeChoice Home Care Solutions. Her time with our agency is a true testament to her dedication, reliability, and passion for caring for others. To honor this milestone, Letha was presented with a special 15-Year Service Award, recognizing the countless lives she has touched through her compassion, consistency, and commitment to quality care. Some of Letha’s favorite moments with her clients are the simplest ones, listening to music, putting puzzles together, and simply enjoying each other’s company. These shared moments of connection and companionship are at the heart of what makes caregiving so meaningful and impactful.

Always Growing, Always Learning

Even after four decades in caregiving, Letha remains focused on personal growth. Her future goals include mastering a hobby, improving physical fitness, overcoming bad habits, and continuing to build self-awareness, a true reflection of her lifelong commitment to growth and self-improvement.

Outside of work, Letha enjoys collecting old coins, spending time with family at cookouts, reminiscing about “the old days,” and relaxing while watching Lifetime. These moments keep her grounded and bring joy to her life, just as she brings joy to the lives of those she cares for.
