Caring for the Caregivers: A Fun and Interactive Self-Care In-Service

A Different Kind of Training
Our Client Care Coordinator, Sarah, and our nurse, Sharon, hosted the session, and it may have been one of our most interactive in-services yet.
Instead of a traditional lecture, the training included a Jeopardy-style game designed to spark conversation, reflection, and shared ideas about how caregivers can prioritize their own well-being while continuing to provide compassionate home care services.
Caregivers worked together, shared their experiences, and brought plenty of energy to the discussion. According to Sharon, the Thursday group included some of our most enthusiastic personalities and Sarah did a wonderful job welcoming that enthusiasm and keeping the conversation flowing.
The result was a lively, engaging session filled with laughter, thoughtful insights, and great teamwork.

A Small Reminder That Goes a Long Way
To help reinforce the message of self-care, light refreshments were provided during the training, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved.
Each caregiver also received a self-care goodie bag to take home; a small but meaningful reminder that their well-being matters too.
