Zakiayah has been working as a Caregiver/PCA for approximately 5–6 years, bringing warmth, creativity, and genuine compassion into every home she serves. Her journey into healthcare began after the passing of her grandmother, a deeply personal experience that inspired her to support others during meaningful chapters of their lives.
A Natural Heart for Connection
From the very beginning, Zakiayah stood out for her kindness, joyful spirit, and the way she connects so naturally with her clients. She is the type of caregiver who truly takes the time to learn what matters most to the people she cares for; their interests, passions, and the activities that bring them happiness.
One beautiful example of this was shared by our team: during a visit to a client’s home, Zakiayah was found learning how to crochet. The client loves crocheting and was absolutely delighted to teach her. That moment perfectly captures who Zakiayah is, a caregiver who meets her clients where they are, embraces what they love, and turns care into genuine connection.

Zakiayah enjoys baking and cooking with her clients, transforming everyday routines into shared experiences filled with laughter and meaning. Whether she’s learning a new skill, trying a recipe, or simply spending quality time together, she brings joy into each moment of care.
A Passion That Runs Deep
When Zakiayah was surprised in the office with this recognition, she was overcome with emotion, tears flowing from a place of gratitude and pride. Caregiving isn’t just a job for her; it’s truly her passion and joy. Being recognized for something she loves so deeply was an honor that clearly meant the world to her.
Looking Ahead
Zakiayah is driven and motivated, with future goals that include earning her CNA certification and continuing on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Outside of caregiving, she is a licensed manicurist who enjoys doing nails and hair, baking, experimenting with new recipes, and, most importantly, spending time with her family.
