Angelus, our caregiver of the month for July 2022.
Angelus exudes the HomeChoice values for her teamwork and her caring and compassionate nature. She is always willing to go above and beyond her duties to pitch in with a last-minute shift pickup. Angelus works hard to fit in easily at our clients’ homes where she naturally becomes like family. Angelus was chosen for this honor because her demeanor and her positive attitude set her apart. Angelus has been a caregiver for over 20 years. She became a caregiver because of her grandmother. She wants everyone she comes in contact with to know that she cares about them.
When asked why she likes working for HomeChoice Home Care she said, “The very first day during my interview, everyone there was pleasant and nice. Everything the person I interviewed with said was true. When I call for any reason they are nice, polite, understanding, and recognize what goes into being a caregiver.”
Angelus’ favorite thing to do with her clients is: whatever they like to do. When asked about her dream job, she says, “I’m doing it!”. Angelus loves cooking and trying different recipes with her son. Angelus will always have a special place in her heart for her grandmother who passed away in 2016. She is the proud mother of her 21-year-old son who lives with sickle cell disease.

Anquenette, our caregiver of the month for August 2022.
Anquenette embodies the HomeChoice values by being caring and compassionate with everyone she comes in contact with. She makes deep connections with our clients and their families by learning about them and patiently assimilating into their homes. She has been a caregiver for 29 years and worked with HomeChoice for almost 3 years. She likes working for HomeChoice because it’s like a family. Anquenette was chosen for this honor because she is reliable and consistent. We can always count on her.
Anquenette is a caregiver because she likes working with and helping people. She enjoys a lot of activities with clients, but one of her favorite activities is having conversations with her clients and learning all about them. Anquenette has future plans to become a nurse.

Sheryle, our caregiver of the month for September 2022.
Sheryle exemplifies the HomeChoice Home Care Solutions value of the “Can Do” attitude most. With any situation that comes up, Sheryle is always able to find the best solution possible. We chose Sheryle to be Caregiver of the Month because she is very dependable and committed to her clients. Sheryle has been a caregiver for over 10 years. Sheryle’s caregiving began when her father was battling pancreatic cancer and her aunt was battling leukemia. She quit her job, moved them in with her, and became their full-time caretaker. She then cared for her 92-year-old uncle and when they passed, she continued taking care of the elderly.
Sheryle likes working with HomeChoice because we show that they truly care about our clients and caregivers. She loves to see our owner, Brian, out in the field and she feels working with our clients is really a bonus. Sheryle likes talking with her clients. She says they always have the best stories.
Sheryle plans to stay open and open-minded as far as the future is concerned. She wants to go wherever the Lord leads her. She likes working in her yard and being outdoors. Sheryle has 3 daughters. Two are in the military and one is a correctional officer. She is a very proud mother.
