Congratulations to Teresa P., our Caregiver of the Month for February!

Teresa P., our Caregiver of the Month for February 2023.

Teresa P., our Caregiver of the Month for February 2023.

Teresa was chosen for this honor because she continuously exhibits a Can Do Attitude and is always caring and compassionate with clients. She is more than willing to go the extra mile for clients and assist whenever needed. When our scheduling team reaches out to Teresa she always responds even when she is not scheduled. Her communication helps our scheduling coordinators ensure clients have the appropriate levels of care needed. She is also one of the sweetest people on our team!

Teresa has been a CNA since 1999. She got into it because her family has a strong tradition of caregiving, both her sister and grandmother were also caregivers. They really inspired her to do the same because she saw how compassionate and caring they were for individuals they didn’t know. When she was a child, Teresa used to visit her grandmother’s clients with her grandmother just to check up on them when she wasn’t scheduled to work. She has a love for taking care of people who need a helping hand.

Teresa enjoys meeting new clients and getting to know them because they love sharing their life experiences and telling stories of their favorite pastimes. She also likes that she has one on one time with her clients so they get to know who she is and they learn she cares about who they are and is there to meet their needs.

Teresa’s favorite activity to do with a client is talking about pastimes getting to know who they are, what their favorite thing to do was, and what they used to do for work. She enjoys going through old photos and listening to the many stories her clients share.

Teresa enjoys yoga because it helps put her in a relaxed mood. She also loves reading, journaling, and scrapbooking in her spare time.

Thank you for being such an invaluable member of our team, Teresa! We appreciate you very much!
