Each year, HomeChoice Home Care Solutions recognizes one caregiver whose impact rises above an already exceptional team providing senior care services across our community. In 2025, that honor belongs to Fle’Nequa W., our Caregiver of the Year, selected from more than 140 caregivers across our agency.
Nequa’s recognition as Caregiver of the Year builds upon her being named Caregiver of the Month in November, but this award reflects something even deeper: the lasting, meaningful difference she makes for clients, families, and our team, every single day.
With over seven years of caregiving experience and as a member of the HomeChoice family since May 2021, Nequa has become a cornerstone of trust, compassion, and reliability in the delivery of high-quality in-home care for seniors.

Her presence also matters deeply to our operations team. Nequa has repeatedly been described as a “hero” in last-minute situations; someone who finds a way to help when coverage is tight, schedules change, or urgent needs arise. Even when she can’t do an entire shift, she looks for solutions that support both the client and the care team.

Outside of caregiving, Nequa brings the same intentionality and creativity to her life. She enjoys yoga, trying new recipes, bullet journaling, and managing events, all of which reflect her organized, thoughtful, and nurturing nature. She is also a devoted mother who models resilience, strength, and compassion in every role she holds.
Despite personal and professional challenges, Nequa’s commitment to excellence has never wavered. Her heart for caregiving remains steady and her passion for providing exceptional care continues to shine.
