Vera, our caregiver of the month for June 2021.
Vera has been a caregiver for 11 years since moving to the United States. In Nigeria, she used to volunteer at the orphanage home as a caregiver and also helped the elderly around her neighborhood. Vera said she became a CNA because of her love of helping the elderly. She has been with HomeChoice for just over 6 months now and has been a wonderful addition to our caregiving team!
When asked why she enjoys working for HomeChoice, she had the following to say; “I love the flexibility of the schedule and I love the schedulers, because they talk with so much respect. They’re very appreciative and kind.” In her free time, she enjoys listening to her favorite preacher, Sarah Jakes Robert and cooking. She is married and has two children, a girl and a boy. We appreciate all the hard work Vera does in assisting our clients on a daily basis! Congratulations!
